Heckel CD XL

Thin wall, German hard silver alloy. Similar characteristics to the CD, but with a larger bore compatible with older Heckel bassoons. Improves resonance in the higher register.

Thinner walled bocals typically have a more robust tone with improved response and greater tuning flexibility.

Specifically designed for pre 8000 series Heckel’s however also pairs very well with Fox bassoons.

All bocals are silver plated and available in several lengths.
